  • Formed in the summer of 1996 the band began developing it's chops rehearsing upstairs above the Mother's Mustache during the week and playing down in the bar on weekends. At the end of the summer and into the fall the band played a series of Sunday night performances at Madigan's in uptown New Orleans while putting together a plan for the CD. Recording began in January while the group continued to work around town playing gigs at Mother's Mustache, Rock-N-Bowl and on Bourbon Street.

  • Yin Yang from the Mire was recorded at the Boiler Room in New Orleans and was produced and engineered by Mark Bingham. All eleven tracks were cut live in the studio with a minimal amount of overdubbing. The music combines high-energy rock-n-roll with a heavy dose of roots and blues. Included on the tracks is an eight minute version of Billy Miles' "Have You Ever Loved A Woman" a straight-ahead blues number that was recorded live in one take with no instrumental overdubs.
